Commerce Street Theater Presents "Tartuffe" by Molière

The Alliance Française de Lynchburg invites you to an afternoon of Molière in partnership with Commerce Street Theater.

Join us for the final performance of Tartuffe on Sunday, August 23, 2026, and enjoy this classic French comedy, translated into English by Richard Wilbur, at a special discounted rate reserved for Alliance Française members.

Following the performance, retired Randolph College Professor Françoise Watts will lead a post-show discussion. The afternoon will conclude with a reception featuring complimentary wine and light refreshments.

Tickets can be purchased directly through our website. We will meet you at the theater to check you in and provide access to the member-rate admission.

Please register by August 14 so that we can provide Commerce Street Theater with an accurate headcount.
